At Lush, inspiration for new products comes from all over; the sparks for this one flew from two sources - from a song and a book. First, the book. Stardust by Neil Gaiman tells the modern day fairy tale for grown ups of a northern English village called Wall in early Victorian times. Wall is a secret entrance to Faerie. The hero Tristan, is trying to win the heart of frosty young lady named Victoria. She sends him over the Wall on a quest for a falling star. For our Stardust Ballistic, we wondered what the "shooting star" would smell like when he caught it. Her skin, the delicate flowers, the magic surrounding her and the way she shimmers when she's happy - captured in the fragrance of everlasting flower, bergamot and violets.
